SKMM menyatakan bahawa 7000 permohonan sahaja telah dibayar

Dari sumber di SKMM, Geran SKMM untuk 50,000 peserta hanya cecah 7,000 permohonan yang telah dibayar dan berjaya... jauh dari target 50,000.

SKMM / MCMC only paid out to 7000 applicants so far.

Sources from the Malaysia Communication and Multimedia Commission had stated in a press release recently that only 7000 applications were filed for the Get Malaysian Business Online Grant.

This is far from the 50,000 application target to help SME to advertise on the web.

What you need

Don't be fooled by many consultants who want to make a killing from your cash.  What you need to do is quite simple.

Have a legit business registered with the SSM

You must be a Malaysian

You must have a personal or company bank account

And you need to buy a domain name from MYNIC

Depending on your reseller, domain cost about RM80 onwards to RM150 and you make your arrangement with them.

You need to have a place to host them for the domain ie DNS and the hosting, and usually if you pay for hosting, its already included.

We host our own, so we have our own name servers. 

To make life easy, many of us uses blogspot to do a blog shop. Cheap and simple to do.

Otherwise, we can do it for all in for about RM300 to load your domain, host and point to blogger and upload the initial contents. SKMM are silly people and tell em it's a blogspot. Put in what services etc you do and you will get approved.

If you wish to go professional, then we suggest you get professional SEO optimised website.
